The OpenBuildings™ GenerativeComponents control panel provides a convenient way to group together all of your nodes that display useful information or provide interactive controls.

The control panel supports the node types Color, ColorGradient, DateTime, Expression, Gauge, Slider, and Watch.

Every newly-created node of any of those node types is added to the control panel, automatically.

• List by Type — in this mode, the nodes in the list are grouped by their types.
• Hold Changes Until Applied — in this mode, changes we make to the nodes' values are not applied until and unless we click the Apply Changes button.
• Apply Changes — in "hold changes until applied" mode, clicking this button applies all pending changes.
• Cancel Changes — in "hold changes until applied" mode, clicking this button discards all pending changes.
• right-click > Edit — activates the Node Properties dialog where node properties are managed.
• right-click > Show in Control Panel — when unchecked, the node entry is removed from the control panel list.

To include or exclude any the node in control panel, select that node in the graph view and check the right-click > Show in Control Panel option.
